 On June 21 Kim Nuelle State Farm team battled with Pat Harvey ReMax for the Kid Pitch championship. The game was tremendously well played by both teams and went into extra innings to finish out this years kid pitch division. Congrats to Rich Gallagher and his boys who played hard all game. State Farm had good pitching by 8 yr old Justen Lucas, with middle relief by Nathan Lucas and closed out by David Mikelson. The game winning play occurred when Christian Nuelle started off the bottom of the 7th with a hard hit single to third, and he scored on a long drive to center field by David Mikelson to seal the victory with at 4-3 State Farm victory.

 After a regular season record of 13 -2 Miller & Son lost it's first playoff game. Coming out of the loser's bracket they won 5 straight games: 10-0, 11-0, 9-1, and the Championship games, 9-4 and 12-4.

 It was a hard fought defensive battle with both teams putting the bat on the ball. Steve Bosken's team went up early with 4 runs in the first with singles by Mike Smiley, Mike O’Brian and Ronnie Bosken. Scott Schmidt's team answered back with a triple by Sam Hamilton and a bases loaded triple by Tommy Schmidt that landed a few feet shy of the fence to tie the score at 4. Solid defense kept Bosken at bay while Schmidt added 2 in the 3rd and 2 in the fifth. Bosken came back in the 6th with a walk, hit batter, single by James Hennessy and a triple by Christian Walton to add 3 in the 6th.
